Comp-Tac supplies the highest quality defensive firearm accessories. Whether you are competing for fun or in the fight for your life, no company offers more holsters dedicated to your victory.
Paddle holsters are simple: just slip the paddle inside your pants. The fact that you can remove the holster without undoing your belt is a great benefit. Stability does not have to be a compromise to the convenience of the paddle. One of the reasons we entered this industry is because of the lack of stable paddle holsters.
Most paddle holsters use a single wedge or tab in the center of the paddle to prevent the paddle from working its way up and out of the waistband. Unfortunately, this single tab tends to create a pivot point around which the entire holster rocks back and forth. In comparison, the Comp-tac paddles are designed with two stability tabs at the forward and rear edges of the paddle itself. These tabs hook against the bottom of your belt to keep the paddle inside the waistband without rocking forward or back. Simple, strong, and convenient, the Comp-tac paddle holster comes in three styles - Speed (straight drop), FBI (forward body incline) and Cross-draw.
The Speed (straight drop) Holster is favored by competition shooters. The straight drop means the handgun does not have to rotate as far to the horizontal plane, making the presentation slightly quicker. The tradeoff is that the grip tends to protrude a bit more from the natural curve of the body, making the handgun slightly less covert.
The FBI (Forward Body Incline) Holster is "canted" forward at a 15° angle. This angle keeps the grip from protruding too far from the natural curve of the body. FBI holsters are, therefore, more covert because they produce a smaller bulge under cover garments. The Cross-draw Holster is "canted" rearward. Many people find this holster more comfortable in the seated position. Customer Reviews
